On selection of a property in Nerja our work begins in earnest!
Unlike many Estates Agents here in Nerja we continue our service, to accompany the
purchaser personally through the maze of Spanish bureaucracy. At this stage we
recommend the services of an English speaking lawyer, who will conduct all searches
and ensure there are no charges on the property.
On completion, on exchange of contracts at the notaries office, we assist the new
owner to change all services, (Electricity, water, rates, telephone, etc), into their
name and continue to help with any requirement they may have in their adopted country.
This may include translations, car purchases, obtaining resident status, tax
obligations, optimising a rental income, or where the best restaurants may be found!
All this incurs no charge, we consider it a normal service to our clients and
encourage them to make full use of it in fact many of our purchasers are in
frequent contact and become good friends, popping in to the office just to pass
the time of day.
